1. Focusing on rigorous instruction and access to supports that effectively build upon our students’ strengths and enhance their learning so that every student is successful at grade level standards. To accomplish this, we need to:
- Identify successes throughout the district, we know what works if we take the time to reflect on programs and interventions.
- Use school based data to determine the effectiveness of programs so that school communities can spend time on what works.
2. Partnering with our dedicated teachers and providing access to tools and resources that will help them create student centered classrooms. To accomplish this we need to:
- Maintain a balanced budget with resources directed to teachers and students.
- Provide school communities with consistent support and direction throughout the school year.
3. Amplify the voices of students, parents, educators and school staff so that important decisions are made by those closest to kids and classrooms. To accomplish this we will:
- Engage in authentic community engagement conversations about budgets and decisions that reflect the priorities and values of each unique school.
- Use community feedback as an essential element of every decision.
